Lax State of Affairs part II: Map and Rules
It's been a while since I posted about Lax State of affairs, but I've finally fleshed out some rules and present them for your viewing pleasure. I've not play tested these at all, so if you have a spin with them, please let me know how it went and how I could improve.

Mission Creep
I know that I do *technically* have enough models, painted and unpainted, for a reasonably sized Anglo-Norman army. Unfortunately the lure of Reasonable Female Miniatures (buy some!) plus the Dice Bag Lady's new selection of heads, with more medieval-friendly hairdos, has led me to spend worrying sums on new stuff. What makes things worse is that at some point I'm going to want a camp element, which will no doubt involve expenditure on tents, camp followers (ooh Matron!) etc.

"Lax State of Affairs"- a series of armchair strategy articles.
So, as promised, here are my scattered thoughts on what a campaign game set during The Anarchy should look like. I'm basing these thoughts on my own inventions and this set of things wot I found on the internet, plus a bunch of stuff half remembered from Extra Credits videos on Youtube. I'm keeping all articles on this separate from the main blog, to keep this sophistry away from the people who just like pretty pictures.

Painting Bottleneck
It has become increasingly clear that I am too lazy to finish the models I have started painting. Let the Plastic pile (beloved of all those other wargaming blogs) commence! As I have no money, this may turn to my advantage. Anyway, I post my latest results, with the promise of more tomorrow. Maybe.

My Little Pony
Finally found time to slink off to the Mighty Shed this morning, and started on New Stuff, first of which is the Black-skinned marauders. The massive bulging muscles of the models are perfect for highlighting, as are the expressive faces. I'm not sure if I can pull off the gradual shades of dark brown perfectly, but there are lots of marauders for test pieces at least.
